Clemson has had 37 football players test positive for COVID-19 as of Friday, but the school does not think a recent demonstration is to blame.

Ex-Clemson player Kanyon Tuttle told coach Dabo Swinney to “take a stand” on racism. Tuttle claimed a coach for Tigers once called player racial slur.

Clemson’s Justyn Ross is scheduled to fly to Pittsburgh on Thursday and will undergo surgery to correct “congenital fusion” on Friday.
