Amid the coronavirus pandemic, which restaurants are open to dine in Monday for Labor Day – and their hours – can vary depending on where you live.

This Labor Day will be the last for Pier 1 Imports, Stein Mart and closing J.C. Penney and Justice stores. Costco is closed for the holiday Monday.

Amazon is banning sales of plants and seeds imported from outside the U.S. after people received mysterious packages of seeds from China.

Costco is closed Labor Day but Chick-fil-A is open along with most major retailers and restaurant chains. Amid COVID-19, fewer businesses are open.

Taco Bell is continuing to revamp its menu and has announced it will remove its Mexican Pizza, shredded chicken and pico de gallo from the menu.

Macy’s still plans to close 125 stores over the next couple of years and will open smaller, freestanding Backstage stores, officials said.

Target is beefing up its Good & Gather brand with 600 new items including frozen pizzas, meatless burgers, jalapeno avocado hummus and more.

Amazon-owned Whole Foods Market’s new Brooklyn store has no salad or coffee bar or a prepared foods department. This store is only for online orders.

Wendy’s announced the return of pretzel buns and “the new and improved Pretzel Bacon Pub Cheeseburger.” You can also swap the beef for fried chicken.
