Former President Donald Trump is bracing supporters for more charges in a bid to control the narrative and campaign against the cases themselves.

The former president’s attorneys are asserting executive privilege in a sealed motion. Pence has already vowed to resist a special counsel subpoena.

Former VP Mike Pence plans to challenge a subpoena from a Justice Department special counsel probing Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election.

Sources declined to elaborate on the materials, which were retrieved from a West Palm Beach, Florida location, and turned over to federal authorities

Long-standing investigations of former president Donald Trump, including on Jan. 6, are percolating in Washington, D.C.; New York City, and Atlanta.

The firm, Mazars, said a decade of Trump Organization financial statements “should no longer be relied upon,” said a court filing in New York.

William Barr served as attorney general for President George H.W. Bush; more recently, he has criticized aspects of the Russia investigation.

“At least 3 major players are intimating that the Angry Mueller Gang of Dems is viciously telling witnesses to lie about facts & they will get relief,” Trump tweeted.

While President Trump and his 2016 presidential campaign remain under investigation over possible links to Russia, the president’s legal team has been told thatTrump is not a target of the probe, officials said Wednesday.
Special Counsel Robert Mueller is also preparing a report on his findings.
