The sentencing hearing for Daniel Perry, who was found guilty of murder in the shooting death of Texas protestor Garett Foster, began Tuesday.

Austin-area ICUs are in danger of being overrun in the two weeks if hospital admissions continues its current pace, the city’s mayor said.
