After reports emerged that “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett may have played a role in his own attack - allegations denied by Smollett - Kenan Thompson, Roy Wood Jr. and Michael Moore weighed in at the Writers Guild Awards. Thompson says he wants the “facts first” since “everybody is so quick to jump on one side.” Wood Jr. says he wants the same police transparency seen in Smollett’s case used in cases moving forward. Moore says it’s a “crazy time.”
